Book | DIEVS IR VARENS
- Description
The memoir "Dievs ir varens" by Jānis Ozolinkevičas, Honorary Bishop of the Association of Pentecostal Churches of Latvia, has started its journey to readers, in which the bishop tells about his journey to God and shares the revelations gained during his life.
The story begins with childhood memories of his family and father who was a confident Christian. Further, the book also tells about the time when, after the death of Joseph Stalin, who persecuted Christians, the revival of Christianity and at-home services began throughout the territory of Latvia.
The memoir tells about the revival of the Pentecostal movement in Latvia and the spiritual awakening of the people in the former Soviet Union. Because of this, the Association of Pentecostal Churches of Latvia was formed from a small handful of believers, which currently unites more than 11 thousand Christians in its ranks, operating in 53 registered churches in Latvia.
